By Blerim Abedini- We are experiencing many changes in our daily lives. The most discussed topic seems to be EU integration, now that the goals of NATO membership have been achieved. Other positive topics are those that resolve the dilemmas of free and democratic elections. A third topic is the wars in Europe and the Middle East. Other issues vary and can have both negative and positive effects on social life. EU integration is a widely discussed topic. We often hear about it, but we do not know what awaits us. This uncertainty exists because the republic may be seen in the light of a capitalist and technocratic economy. States aspiring to EU membership often rely on mutual support in economic planning. From an economic perspective, it can be noted that small businesses are very common in candidate countries. They are destined to connect with the multi-ethnic and international companies of the EU and those on the international stage. The Balkans were prepared for EU accession in the last century, before the 1990s or the Yugoslav Wars. In this world, there were already numerous heavy and light industries that could compete with the so-called Western companies. Thus, the Balkan states were close to the European Economic Union before the Yugoslav War. Each republic had a rotating president for the Yugoslav Federation. This role rotation was a step towards the progressive division of the republics. There was a different concept of accession and the necessary conditions for joining the European family. The Yugoslav War destroyed the entire economy. A set of conditions for accession to the EU has been established. These conditions have not yet been met, even after 35 years.
However, the path of those who joined the European family often led to NATO. They benefited from its military and security stability. NATO membership thus enables positive economic development by removing the barriers of external destabilizing factors. Some claim that constitutional changes are not difficult. However, in the long run, they endanger the freedom of choice in reckless elections. Compromises must be made, even under the most favorable or difficult conditions, and have been made. We see the Balkan economy slowly recovering. The international connections of companies provide an overview of the economic “health” of the society. Therefore, the Balkans, plagued by conflict, must urgently promote economic integrity. They must also promote the free movement of goods and people. This is to ensure that companies are not isolated by bureaucratic measures. However, some Balkan leaders found a way to cope with the economic crisis. They lent material goods. This filled any gaps created by political opponents. This was a good way to intimidate political opponents and potentially permanently exclude them from voting. Management methods remain dependent. They rely on someone using them in the determined direction and with the specified goal. Countries have developed stable economies and political establishments. They prosper with modern technologies and a competitive market. Their workforce has sufficient experience.
