Security report: A ‘Cold War’ era in Macedonia!

According to the latest reports, political forces in Serbia and Macedonia are turning the region into a ‘battlefield’ and military polygon.
However, due to Russian expansion, States of Eastern Europe and the Balkans could ”construct” new zones of “Cold War”.
Serbian balancing act between East and West is well replicated from the Macedonian diplomacy. Matters are more complicated for international diplomacy in Skopje.
Serbia’s geographical position enables the Belgrade government to adopt the foreign policy concepts seeking favors from United States, Russia and the EU.
Furthermore, Serbian air force and Russian army demonstrated elements of the new axis-so both States are in process of aligning. Because of geographical and economic constraints, Macedonia has no internal capacity to maneuver.
